The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today launched the auction process of 41 coal blocks for commercial mining through video conference from New Delhi.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today (18 June 2020) launched the auction process of 41 coal blocks for commercial mining through video conference from New Delhi.



Actually it was a part of the announcements made by the Government of India under the "Self-Reliant India" Scheme.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that 
          "India has taken an important decision to open coal and mining sectors fully for competition, capital, partnership and technology."

         "Improvement in coal sector will make a development pillar to eastern and central India and our tribal region."

          "Self-reliance is not possible without a strong mining and mineral sector."

Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. According to historians, this temple belongs to the eighth century.
