Sometimes nature shows magic and sometimes it shows such magic that many scientists and inventors are surprised and are forced to think how is it possible?
today we talk on one such magic of nature.

 Lonar Lake

Reports tell that, Lonar lake located in Buldhana district of Maharashtra is 0.56 million years old. This lake is more than 100 meters deep and more than 1.5 kilometer in diameter.
Experts believe that, this lake was formed by hitting a meteorite on Earth. And the meteorite body would have been around 1,000,000 tons. Some experts also claim that there were two more lakes near the Lonar lake but they got depleted with time.

Recently, a cyclonic storm called Nisarg came in Maharashtra, which also caused a lot of destruction. And after this storm, the water of Lonar lake turned pink. Some experts claim that the color of the water has become pink due to the red algae that came with the cyclonic storm. Although investigation is on.
Although this is not a new phenomenon, even before that, water color in a lake (Maharloo Lake) in Iran turned pink due to salinity and high potassium content.
