Unsolved murder mystery of Former PM of Sweden, Olof Palme
Swedish prosecutor closed the murder case of former Prime Minister of Sweden Olof Palme after 34 years.
Olof Palme was elected (second time) as a Prime Minister of Sweden at 08 Oct 1982 from social democrats party. He was a socialist, idealist and liberal leader.
It was 28 February 1986, Olof Palme went to office and met some journalists, after that completed his office work. At Evening, He called his wife lisbeth and asked for the movie, Lisbeth answered yes. He forbade his security forces to accompany him, And both went by local train to watch movies. They watched a movie there. At the same time, he also met his son and his girlfriend. The movie ended, both came out and made up their mind to walk to the home. They were walking on the streets of Stockholm. Suddenly a man started moving towards them, the man crossed them and suddenly turned back and grabbed his shoulder and fired 2 bullets. He stood there for some time as he was waiting for his (Olof Palme) death. Lisbeth kept weeping with her husband and then the man ran away and disappeared from everyone's eyes.
Investigating documents of this cases are kept in several wardrobe continuously upto 250 meters.
At a Stockholm Press conference on 10 June 2020, the prosecutor Krister Petersson blamed Stig Engstrom, a graphic designer in a insurance company, as stating that there was reasonable evidence that the attacker was Stig Engstrom.
Although Mr. Engstrom committed suicide in the year 2000, and the court did not give any decision in this regard.
So, It is a unsolved mysterious murder case of Former Prime Minister of Sweden, Mr. Olof Palme.
